Title: Let us pray
Post by: Trinity on September 23, 2006, 04:00:41 PM
As our evil owners prepare to take us into another phase of WWIII; as we worry about gas prices, who's winning at the ballpark, and sundry irrelevant political moves which will help us decide who to vote for, we need to pray for all we're worth that our boys in the military will be spared in spite of their commander in chief.

Just in the event that some have not realized it, I must explain that Iraq is in the middle of a LOT of muslim countries, countries which aren't as ill prepared to deal with us as Iraq was.  Furthermore, Bush has hit the bottom of volunteer canon fodder, and to get more (which he desparately needs) he will have to trot out the draft.  But above all, our boys and girls in Iraq are sitting ducks.

So, pray and pray, because there is little chance that this will not effect everyone in this country, one way or the other and probably more ways than one.

Yes, you are right. Sometimes life gets so hectic we forget to pray.
