At first I didn't know what to expect, but after it was amazing. Some children received First Communion, and the Mass was followed by the procession, in which we all went outside and followed the priest who held the monstrance up with Christ in it. All in all it lasted 2 entire hours. Much better than any N.O. Mass I've been to. The only complaints about this Mass was some lady complaining about how tall I am, and that she couldn't see what was going on (:rolleyes:). I did notice that I was probably one of the tallest people there (6ft 1/4) and everyone else was rather short. What an awkward feeling.

With all that being said, I have a feeling that I'll never get to know anyone in the FSSP parish that I just went to. I'm a very reserved person and I avoid talking to people I don't know. I'm not sure if that's bad, as I've always been this way, even in the N.O. Mass.

But yeah, t'was great and I'm never going back to the N.O. Mass ever again, unless I have no other options.

PS: For once, I noticed that half the people were dressed slightly better than I was! That's a first. Though surprisingly, there were quite a few that weren't dressed completely modestly. Oh well.

They are totally different animals.  One is of God; the other is man-made.  What do modern men know about worshiping God the way He desires?  Once I went to the TLM, I never went back.

I had a great day aswell, St. Catherines is the biggest chapel SSPX has in Southern Ontario(size of chapel not size of congregation) so they had low masses in New Hamburg(I assume), and Toronto(I know) for the people that couldn't make the trip. Then we had a High Mass and procession at the St. Catherines Chapel with people from all 3. It was packed and let me tell you this is a big church. Then we had a banquet in the gym... yes they have a Gymnasium attacked at the back. A Priest from an Independant Chapel in New York State even came with some of his flock. Was a great time.

Anyhow, one of the parishoners from Toronto, was mentioning his story of having gone to the FSSP first before coming to SSPX then he was talking about Ottawa, these two things clicked and I thought of your last thread. So I asked him about it. He said there is a big FSSP only chapel(He gave the name I forgot) in Ottawa that is very traditional and would be a great way to get into Tradition.
I assume that is that chapel.

As for not meeting anyone there, I'm not sure how the FSSP is, at the SSPX chapel I talked to the Priest beforehand and he told me to come to the basement after and meet people. I did and he and bunch of us went out for breakfast on them.

Couldn't hurt to tell them tell them "Hi I'm new to Tradition" most would be interested in helping. I would note that some FSSPers are hybrids and not full trads. Although I base this comment not on personal experience but on meeting a few online and hearsay so take it for what it is.
