  • What does the SSPX require if a parent wishes to have their son or daughter confirmed by one of their bishops in the traditional rite?  Regular attendance at an SSPX chapel, or may any of the faithful freely present themselves for confirmation?  Type of preparation?  Would homeschooling with use of their book "Preparation for Confirmation" be sufficient?  Or do they require traveling to the chapel for classes?  (We live two hours away from the nearest SSPX chapel.)

  • The priest (or his delegate) would want to test you prior to scheduling you for confirmation.

Traditionally, the preparation is (largely) the booklet you referenced.

Rom 5: 20 - "But where sin increased, grace abounded all the more."
