    Apparently the surgery went well, but she's having a rough recovery. I'm not sure whether that means that her recovery is worse than expected, or just that her recovery is normal but unavoidably rough. (I can only go by what her dad told me).

    • Hey, just another update. I finally got to talk to her yesterday, and although she was in a lot of pain, it seems like she'll be okay in the long haul. It looks like it's going to be a long and painful recovery, though. Thank you all for your prayers during this entire process!
