Let's say I wanted to see what some schismatic priest uses in the canon of the mass. Would it be sinful to watch it if I just watch it to see what it's like and not unite my heart to the sacrilege?

If you're talking about in-person, than no.

An online video -- who cares? You're not assisting at the liturgy.

There could be some sin involved ... to this extent.  If you don’t have a strong faith and could get sucked into thinking that there’s nothing wrong with the people you’re watching.  “See, look, these Greek Orthodox aren’t so bad after all.”  So it could be occasion of sin for some individuals.  There should be some non-trivial reason for watching these.  Not a few Catholics have been sucked into religious indifferentism this way.  I would avoid it out of mere curiosity.

Schismatic doesn't necessarily mean it's sacrilege.  An example of sacrilege is the novus ordo.

I wonder if Cryptinox knows what a schismatic liturgy really is?  What video are you considering?

An example would be watching a video of Old Catholics, Persian heretics, or Oriental Orthodox. The latter two would be for seeing what the East Syriac/West Syriac liturgical tradition is like. The other would be to check validity of lineages. The current video is this one guy I found who holds these absurd views such as praying Luminous Mysteries is a mortal sin, Sacramentum Ordinis was forged, a mass is idolatrous if there is something other than a cross on the frontface of the altar, praying in front of a camera means you give Divine Honor to it, etc. I saw him wearing a white zucchetto so I was planning on seeing what he says in the Canon of the Mass to see if he thinks he is Pope.

Mostly the liturgies you mentioned are the same as the catholics ones. Exception being Syriac Catholic or Maronites who only now contain the outlines of the liturgies. The prayers being shortened to the point of being as meaningless as the NO,  but still containing valid consecrations and actual references to Catholic truth occasionally.
The SO and Malankara are faithful to the Syriac tradition if you can get over the ridiculous usage of electronic keyboards

The keyboard thing is an Indian thing the SO doesn't use it

It's the equivalent of doing a Latin hymn like Pange Lingua in the traditional way with a wierd synthesizer playing it in the correct Gregorian chant tone.

I visited a Malankara Church once and it thankfully didn't have keyboards. What I can't find on Youtube is a video of a Malankara Liturgy offered in Syriac. I can easily find Syro Malabar but not pre-1962 rubrics except audio.

Just to note, while praying the Luminous Mysteries isn't a sin...it isn't the rosary either.

The Malankara synod allowed vernacular liturgies just before Vatican II. So you usually won't find one. Parts are still in Syriac. Non keyboard is usually IOC who broke away relatively recently. Assyrian Orthodox is more traditional than a Malabar.

I agree that they aren't as good because you don't get the indulgences attached to it and it breaks the symbolic meaning to the amounts of prayers.

Haha, no, of course not.
.
Any more than you can fulfill your Sunday obligation by watching a video of a Mass on YouTube. You can't, because you're not attending a ceremony by watching a YouTube video. For the same reason, you're not attending a schismatic ceremony by watching a video on YouTube.

It is not. Sometimes, if I am looking for a recording of a choral or organ piece, I have to find it within the context of a Protestant service or Novus Ordo because to their credit, many of them have excellent choirs. I'm not participating in the service by watching a video.
