Interesting to note the difference in coverage by the SSPX on their U.S.A. website upon the death of Fr. Nicholas Gruner as opposed to the coverage upon the death of Mr. Thomas A. Nelson. Fr. Gruner (see below) was given 3 separate notices while Mr. Nelson
who founded and oversaw TAN Books for some 40 years (1967 to 2008) was given absolutely no coverage whatsoever.
Bp. Fellay presided (with a good number of SSPX priests in attendance) over the Requiem Mass for Fr. Gruner. Hopefully, at least one SSPX priest was in attendance at Mr. Nelson's funeral. I bring all this up because the total lack of coverage on Mr. Nelson belies the fact that so many of the SSPX priests, seminarians, religious, 3rd Order members, and oblates, not to mention the SSPX Mass attendees and contributors to the SSPX have relied so extensively and continue to rely so extensively on the solid traditional Catholic material found in literally hundreds of different TAN books that Mr. Nelson had published in his day.
