  • Ok, I know that the sacraments have never changed, but the way they were administered definitely have. In the early church sins were confessed in church publicly and absolution was only given ONCE for mortal sins (at least from what I've read). Private confession didn't come about until the 600s and even then it was only in Ireland. Mass is like confession, it's foundation has always been the same, but the way it's been celebrated has changed through the Church's history. What exactly is the big deal about the Novus Ordo? If celebrated reverently it can be just as beautiful as the TLM...right? There's nothing anti Catholic in the NO either. It's orthodox. Please correct me if I am mistaken in something.

  • Have you done any homework on this question? I delayed answering you as I hoped someone else would. Also this question has been discussed ad nauseam on this very site. Do a search. Have you searched traditional websites?

The answer to your question is a resounding NO! And it is certainly anti-Catholic. In fact nothing has done more to undermine the Catholic faith than the novus ordo.

    try these:

Help of Christians, guard our land from assault or inward stain,
Let it be what God has planned, His new Eden where You reign.

Good to see that you are still alive, Nadir.

I have missed you, so it is good to see you posting here.

Yes, the Novus Ordo has done a tremendous amount of harm.

Not only have the changes in the Mass desensitized the faithful to other more serious changes like the changes in all the sacraments, but also these changes have allowed the smoke of Satan to enter the church.  Witness the clown masses, witness the beer and pretzel masses, witness the biki masses. When will this revolutionary "NO" mass be buried?

Unlike his predecessor, Benedict XVI, the current pope seems in no hurry to stop this nonsense.

Now that the genie (Satan)  is out of the bottle, I doubt that he can ever be put back.

We are in the End Times.

Come Lord Jesus and save us.

    Lord have mercy.
