But Jesus is not “ONLY” God but also MAN
Matthew 16: [21] From that time Jesus began to shew to his disciples, that he must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the ancients and scribes and chief priests, and be put to death, and the third day rise again. [22] And Peter taking him, began to rebuke him, saying: Lord, be it far from thee, this shall not be unto thee. [23] Who turning, said to Peter: Go behind me, Satan, thou art a scandal unto me: because thou savourest not the things that are of God, but the things that are of men.
Mark 8: [29] Then he saith to them: But whom do you say that I am? Peter answering said to him: Thou art the Christ. [30] And he strictly charged them that they should not tell any man of him. [31] And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the ancients and by the high priests, and the scribes, and be killed: and after three days rise again. [32] And he spoke the word openly.
Luke 9: [20] And he said to them: But whom do you say that I am? Simon Peter answering, said: The Christ of God. [21] But he strictly charging them, commanded they should tell this to no man. [22] Saying: The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the ancients and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and the third day rise again.
1 Corinthians 15 [21] For by a man came death, and by a man the resurrection of the dead. [22] And as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all shall be made alive. [23] But every one in his own order: the firstfruits Christ, then they that are of Christ, who have believed in his coming. [24] Afterwards the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God and the Father, when he shall have brought to nought all principality, and power, and virtue. [25] For he must reign, until he hath put all his enemies under his feet. [26] And the enemy death shall be destroyed last: For he hath put all things under his feet.
