  • what's the difference between a homily at a tridentine mass and a homily at a novus ordo mass? I mean, those of you who attend the tridentine mass do you do it only for the mass or also for the homily?

The TLM is able to be said without the homily. However, I 'believe' the NO is also able to be said without a homily.

People do not go to the TLM for the homily, but to worship God.

Stir up within Thy Church, we beseech Thee, O Lord, the Spirit with which blessed Josaphat, Thy Martyr and Bishop, was filled, when he laid down his life for his sheep: so that, through his intercession, we too may be moved and strengthen by the same Spir
