Please be assured of my prayers!

Please also be more careful, but be not solicitous unto excess of mind: for these little things, if borne aright and offered unto the Blessed Trinity together with the sacred Passion of Our Lord, the dolours of Our Sorrowful Mother and the sufferings of the holy Martyrs, may avail you unto greater merit and grace here, and greater glory hereafter.

I know it hurts, but the Martyrs endured things we cannot imagine, and these they (in their humility and modesty of mind) did not find worthy enough for the love they bore to their Lord and King, nor for the celestial eternities that awaited them, according to the mind of the great Apostle St. Paul, who wrote to Romans, teaching: "Existimo enim quod non sunt condignæ passiones hujus temporis ad futuram gloriam, quæ revelabitur in nobis" (cap. viii., 18).

Excellent advice.  Thank you.  And thanks to everyone else for their prayers.

My back still hurts quite a bit.  That is the only reason I would be up at this hour.  I am going back to the doctor on Monday.  My computer died on Sunday, and it has taken me a while to go get a new one.  I would have acknowledged everyone's prayers with gratitude sooner otherwise.
Stir up within Thy Church, we beseech Thee, O Lord, the Spirit with which blessed Josaphat, Thy Martyr and Bishop, was filled, when he laid down his life for his sheep: so that, through his intercession, we too may be moved and strengthen by the same Spir

    Praying for your speedy recovering.

A hurt back can be the worst. If I may make a helpful suggestion.  Oregano oil.  It's sold in nutrition stores, and relatively inexpensive.  You can apply it 3-4 times a day directly to the area of your hurt back.  Many studies are published describing how Oregano oil is able to supersede the ability of anti-inflammatory drugs in reversing inflammation and pain. The reports say that oregano oil’s pain killing ability is nearly as powerful as morphine.  God bless you, I hope you feel better soon!

    Thanks.  I will try it.

As some may remember, I broke my arm back in  January.  I recovered from that just in time to trip over a curb and slam my head into a wall.  I have a slight contusion on my head, and by knees are scraped up.  The real problem is that I seriously wrenched a muscle in my back and in actually in more pain that I was from the arm, which I find kind of surprising.  I will be fine in a few days, I expect.  Anyway, prayers for recovery and patience, and perhaps the ability to talk in a straight line, would be greatly appreciated.

Everything happens for a reason, you know.  This might be God telling you something about your recent untraditional defense of the Jєωs on this board.

Any news on the oregano oil??

I've tried various oils (but not oregano) and the best effect has been a temporary
but vague, good sensation, mixed with the pain(!) Some oils smell real good, like
Chinese wood lock oil. I haven't had any massage or finger pressure used in
combination with the oils, so I can't comment on that. Some say it's very effective.

If God is concerned enough about that to trip me, I would like task Him why a lot of people are still waking around at all...   :smirk:

I have tried it.  I am feeling a great deal better, but I don't know if it is the oil or time, or a bit of both.

Thanks again to everyone who has posted their prayers and thoughts on this thread.  Well, ALMOST everyone...
