Here is a beautiful adaptation of the celebrated Ambrosian Hymn Te Deum written by the great Seraphic Doctor, Saint Bonaventure: to be found in the latter of his works in the tome The Mirror of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Speculum Beatae Mariae Virginis) and The Psalter of Our Lady (Psalterium Beatae Mariae Virginis) (trans. Sr. Mary Emmanual, O.S.B.; St. Louis, MO: B. Herder Book Co., 1932).

This is most appropriate for this Feast Day and for the devotion of all devout children and servants of Our Blessed Lady.

From The Daily Missal and Liturgical Manual with Vespers for Sundays and Feasts revised by Rev. Fr. J. Dukes, S.J. (Leeds, England: Laverty & Sons, Ltd., 1957), here is a beautiful and rare Mass in honor of the interior life of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

It would be most edifying for the servants and children of Mary Most Holy to prayerfully peruse this exquisite Mass formulary on this Feast of the Presentation of the same illustrious Virgin, for it reveals to the interior soul some glimpses of the ineffable prodigies and wonders that Our Lord wrought in the Immaculate Heart of Our Lady whilst she adored Him Whom she was to bring forth as her Son in the Temple, living a hidden life of prayer, detachment, silence and contemplation.

The tome The Mirror of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Speculum Beatae Mariae Virginis) and The Psalter of Our Lady (Psalterium Beatae Mariae Virginis) (trans. Sr. Mary Emmanual, O.S.B.; St. Louis, MO: B. Herder Book Co., 1932), which contains these two opuscules of the Seraphic Doctor, St. Bonaventure, is to be highly recommended.

The Psalterium is the most interesting, since it is a Marian adaptation of the Roman Psalter. St. Bonaventure emended the initial verses of the Psalms so as to make them into praises and prayers to Our Lady. The Seraphic Doctor emended the Canticles of the Divine Office as well, and he even adapted the Athanasian Creed, the English translation of which follows:.

Thomas Livius The Blessed Virgin Mary in the Fathers of the First Six Centuries (London: Burns & Oates, Ltd., 1893), here are some Patristic sources regarding the coalescence between Mariology and ecclesiology: a synthesis that may prove to be a key to the present crisis afflicting the children of Holy Mother Church and to understanding the message of Our Lady of the Rosary at Fatima and its significance.

In the practical order, it amounts to this: the cultivation of the interior life as set forth by St. Louis-Marie as the Holy Slavery to Jesus through Mary, the total consecration to Our Lady so that we may be more detached from self and more attached to Eternal Wisdom, is the path that prepares the interior soul in particular and Christendom in general for the liberty and exaltation of Holy Mother Church and the restoration of the social kingship of Our Lord throughout the nations of the world.

This is the key to solving the question "Ubi (aut, Quomodo) nunc invenire possumus Ecclesiam Christi?" It is by Mary, with Mary, and through Mary that we are to find Jesus, and it is by Mary, with Mary, and through Mary that we are to find Jesus in His Mystical Body, the Church.
