From The Saint Andrew Daily Missal with Vespers for Sundays and Feasts by Dom Gaspar Lefebvre, O.S.B., of the Abbey of St- André (Bruges, Belgium: Liturgical Apostolate of the Abbey of St-André, 1956), here is the formulary of the Mass for the Feast of Saint Bernard, Abbot and Doctor of the Church.

  • From The Missal According to the Carmelite Rite in Latin and English for Every Day in the Year (Rome: Vatican Polyglot Press, 1953), here is the formulary of the Mass for the Feast of Saint Bernard, Abbot and Doctor of the Church.

Note the beautiful Collect, which is not to be found in the Roman Missal. The Cistercians also have this Collect for the Offices of Saint Bernard, whom they hail, crying forth: Sancte Pater noster.

  • From the late Cardinal Schuster's work The Sacramentary (Liber Sacramentorum): Historical and Liturgical Notes on the Roman Missal (vol. V.; trans. Arthur Levelis-Marke & W. Fairfax-Cholmeley; New York: Benziger Brothers, 1930), here is a commentary upon the Mass for the Feast of Saint Bernard, Abbot and Doctor of the Church.
