Happy Feast Day of Saint Louis Bertrand!

From the Dominican Breviary translated by the Dominican Fathers of the Irish Province and published as the Breviary according to the Rite of the Order of Preachers: Approved by Apostolic Authority; Published by Order of the Most Reverend Father Aniceto Fernandez, Master General of the Order (Dublin: Browne and Nolan, Ltd., 1967), here are the Lessons and Responsories for Matins of the proper Office of Saint Louis Bertrand, Confessor and celestial Patron of Dominican novices.

Despite the late publication and lexicological modernity of the translation, the exquisite beauty of the original Latin text of the Office is still splendidly to be seen therein.

From The Dominican Missal in Latin and English (Oxford: Blackfriars Publications, 1948), here is the Mass for the Feast of Saint Louis Bertrand proper to the Missal of the Sacred Order of Friars Preachers, of which he was an resplendent luminary and beauteous ornament.
