Friends, I am of Polish and Scottish descent by birth, and I primarily identify as Polish (because I was adopted by a family in which my maternal relatives are Polish).
I know about Maximilian Kolbe, but what other traditional Catholic saints were Polish? How about non-canonized heroes of the Faith?
Say "Wojtyla", even as a joke, and I will reach through the internets and slap you!
I am also aware that while Faustina Kowalska lived and died a traditional Catholic, her 'diary' is suspect (and was forbidden at one time) and any devotion was suppressed under legitimate Popes. So much for the 'Divine Mercy', I guess.
Anyway, dziekuje! Thanks in advance!
Immaculate Heart of Mary, triumph soon!
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.
