    Here is the commentary for the Mass of the Feast Day of Christ the King taken from The Sacramentary (Liber Sacramentorum): Historical and Liturgical Notes on the Roman Missal (vol. V, trans. Arthur Levelis-Marke & W. Fairfax-Cholmeley; New York: Benziger Brothers, 1930), authored by Dom Ildefonso Schuster, O. S. B.,  then Abbot of the Monastery of St. Paul 's Without the Walls, and later elevated as Cardinal and Patriarch of Milan by Pope Pius XII.

     

    This is posted early so that there may be given sufficient time for a meditative study of these sacred texts as a preparation for the sacred Mysteries of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass on such a great Feast Day.
