Many people who live in silence and solitude (eg. Carmelites) recive communion in the hand. Doesn't their life in solitude help them to stop all anti-Catholic practises?

  • Solitude of itself is not beneficial. If they have bought the revolutionary ideas, solitude is not a cure for them.

  • Conciliar Carmelites have accepted a new religion in place of Catholicism.  Thus, their solitude has no benefit in weeding out anti-Catholic practices.  Remember that there are Buddhist monks who also live in solitude, but their lives of contemplation do not bring them close to God because they are based upon false gods.

  • I just do not see how or why anyone would take Our Lord in the hand, if they truly believed it was Christ hiding in the appearance of bread.  Of all my heinous sins, this is one thing I've never been tempted to do.

I don't get it; it is the priest's hands which are consecrated, not ours.  There used to be an informative website maybe called sommunion -in the-hand,org or something similar.
