Was just wondering. How many people would obey this king. How many people would pay taxes to this king. How many people would fight in his conscripted army. How many people would understand that according to divine right of kings your property is actually his, so how many people when he said I need your horse, and your daughter would give them to him. How many people would give up their right to vote for him. How many people would give up there right to have freedom of speech, or freedom of religion. how many people would be willing to do that. You cant believe in democracy and believe in the great Christian king. those two beliefs are incompatible. I cant imagine he would be very popular with the people nowadays. Its not right to say you love the Great Christian King and not treat him like a King. I mean as far as the mentality of the world is concerned. Its a long way from accepting a King. If he were to go to war for what is rightly his, he would just be labeled as a terrorist, or an imperialist, depending on his status in life. He would have privileges that no one else on earth would have, which doesn't sit well with this modern generation. I can't see the fortune five hundred companies and the banking industry suddenly saying your right we do owe him homage. Pay the man. More likely he would just have an "accident" :dwarf:
