Author Topic: Prayers for the repose of my mothers soul, please (Read 847 times)

On Friday, March 27 my mother finally passed away.

I was with her only hours before her passing and I know she was at peace. She said that she loved me, but was tired. She passed in her sleep.

I have taken great comfort that God permitted her to live long enough to come to conversion and receive the Sacraments of the One True Church.

I placed in her casket the rosary that I prayed with so many times while she was comatose last year. I know she doesn't need it, but it was my way of thanking the Blessed Virgin Mary for taking my mother right to the Feet of Jesus during her illness.

I want to thank everyone again for your prayers this past year for my mother. This year has been a real blessing to me and a great mercy for her.

Please pray for the repose of her soul.

Her name is Camellia Scott. My she rest in peace.

Yours is a much happier story than many of us who have fallen away Catholic family members. What a great blessing.
