  • There is no time so desolate for a parent as when they have just buried their child.

Holy mother church has asked us to remember Our Most Holy Mother in her desolation on Good Friday evening after she has buried her child and her God.

From Friday evening until midday Saturday the Popes since 1736 have asked us to spend one hour or at least half an hour contemplating and compassioning the sorrows of our Blessed Mother, a Holy Hour if you will, by praying the Seven Sorrows Rosary while meditating on Mary's Sorrows.

Mother of Sorrows pray for us.
