+++ Fr. Timothy Alban Hopkins Leaves Us For Eternity +++
News of the death of Fr. Timothy, age 56, in an accident at home, has been a terrible shock to all who knew and loved this kindhearted and tireless Catholic priest. He was ordained a priest by His Grace, Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre and was a long-time friend of the Priestly Society of Saint Pius X. As a staunch defender of Christian Civilization and devoted shepherd of souls, Fr. Hopkins founded the National Shrine of Saint Philomena at 1621 SW 6 Street, Miami, FL 33135. The Shrine offers the Catholic faithful the Traditional Latin Mass and sacramental rites. All who were touched by his piety, intellect, faith, and pastoral solicitude mourn him. He will be sorely missed.
The public viewing is from 3 PM to 7 PM, Sunday, November 6th, 2011 at the Shrine of Saint Philomena. The Requiem Mass is on Monday, November 7th, 2011 at 10 AM. Christian Burial will be immediately after the Requiem Mass at Little Havana’s Woodlawn Park Cemetery, 3260 SW 8 Street, Miami.
Resquiat in Pacem Fr. Timothy Alban Hopkins.
Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord and may Your perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.
