  • Hey there folks. I have a copy of the  Blessed be God prayer book. Do you think it would be a good idea to get the Fr. Lasance prayer book as well? For those who have them what are the differences, or if you only have the Fr Lasance one what is it like.

    God Bless

  • Blessed Be God is so comprehensive I'm not sure that you would get much additional value by owning both.

I do not own the prayer book you mention but I do have some tomes authored by Rev. Fr. F. X. Lasance. They are very good and have much material for spiritual reading and meditation as well as many prayers and devotions.

Here are two free e-books that can give you a glimpse of his prayer books:

The very rare Prayer-Book for Religious: http://www.archive.org/details/prayerbookreligi00lasauoft

And the very rare Visits to Jesus in the Tabernacle: http://www.archive.org/details/visitstojesus00unknuoft

The latter has been reprinted and you can buy it here for a reasonable price: http://www.churchlatin.com/Books.aspx?BookID=33
Please ignore all that I have written regarding sedevacantism.
