I can’t attribute, link, or copy/paste from this cell (don’t know how), but Dawn Marie’s website is reporting that Fr. Daniel Cooper only has a 50% chance of surviving the weekend (cancer).
He could use your prayers.

Lord have mercy.
Most Holy Theotokos, intercede to God for us that he may be saved.
-
Fr. Cooper made a huge impression on me as a child. I hope he will survive.
-
My father died of cancer a few years ago. Fr Cooper gave him Extreme Unction and did his Requiem Mass right before he himself was diagnosed with cancer.
My father wept when Fr Cooper came into the hospital room because he knew why Fr. was there. Father Cooper then wept with him. A tender heart of gold.
May God bless Fr Cooper.
If he goes on, I hope these two amazing Fathers will meet in Heaven.
Prayers!!!

My first retreat was with Fr. Cooper, and it was the one that had the greatest impact. I also worked for him. May God bless him always.

Father Cooper was hands down the best Confessor I ever had.

From an e-mail:
Dear Parishioners,
Fr Kurtz has informed the District Office that Fr Copper has received Extreme Unction and is facing a very dangerous period over the next few days. According to the doctors, he has a 50% chance of surviving this weekend. If he makes it through to Monday, his prognosis will be a bit better, but things generally do not look good. Please redouble your prayers on his behalf and that of his mother and the priory priests and faithful in Dickinson.
Thank you for your charity.
In Christo,
Fr Scott Gardner

When Fr. Cooper came to Arcadia he was the picture of health and vitality; young, tall, athletic and constantly cheerful.
When I heard he was diagnosed with cancer I couldn't believe my ears.
Prayers for his recovery!
He's a model priest for all to know. We need him very much.

Thanks for the news (that I didn't want to hear).
.
It would be great if his Requiem time and place could be posted so we don't have to call -- they'd be swamped with calls.
.
I hope there is a choir.
.
We've lost one of the great ones.

His Requiem and burial will be at Queen of Angels parish in Dickenson, Texas. I don't know when as of yet.

A friend sent an email notifying all in my area of Fr. Cooper's passing, and it appears this lady has an ordination card of Fr. Cooper and linked it for us. I have attempted to link it to this post.
