  • Your prayer help would be appreciated. I have a sneaky feeling that they are trying to force Andrew out of his job. They just pushed another man out two weeks ago, Bob who was one of the only other men who had health issues. Then, they gave Andrew the entire workload from Bob as well as his own.  Andrew is still undergoing medical care for an enlarged heart. He is 57 and of course when times are good someone his age is not first on the must hire list. This is really taking a toll on his mind and his health as you can all imagine.

  • I've been thinking.  Shop around for an atty.  Some of them are actually in the profession because they hate injustice.  If you can find one of them, they might help you for cheap or even pro bono.

And pray rosary.  When they were going to take my daughter away because I was home schooling her we started praying rosary as soon as I got the summons to court.  We prayed rosary all day and half the night for weeks.  In the end the judge found for us and that was a miracle because originally she saw things the way the D.A. did.  Tell Andy to mind Father and that might make a difference, too.

I will definitely pray about this.

  • Check out the Family Medical Leave Act and ADA, which I think is Age and Disabilities Act.  Andy is protected by both, even from harrassment making him give up and quit.

  • yes, I will. Something strange happened yesterday. He was talking to one of the others who do the same job as he. That person said they thought they were getting the boot soon too. Seems there is someone outside the department, in a supervisory role who reaches into this department and causes turmoil. So, I said they should both go to human resources together.

  • Sounds to me like he's being set up, Dawn, giving him twice the amount of work so he won't be able to do it.   Two reasons why they'd like to give him the heave-ho:  1) salary; and 2) medical.  The older you are, the more you cost companies.  I remember when loyalty was a two-way street; now it's the company who seeks loyal employees but they don't have to be loyal.  And they wonder why they can't find loyal people anymore.  Everyone is dispensable.

More problems we don't need.  I'll keep you and yours in my prayers.

  • One of the trouble makers was off both Monday and Tuesday. So, it was absolutely quite. No trouble at all. Now, I asked if the trouble maker who was home with sever stomache pains was not himself getting kicked by someone higher up the food chain. Will know more today on that.

Why of course, I know well what you mean Belloc. White, male always under scrutiny.
