St. Joseph is the patron of workers.

O St. Joseph, whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the throne of God, I place in thee all my interests and desires. O St. Joseph, do assist me by thy powerful intercession and obtain for me from thy Divine Son all spiritual blessings through Jesus Christ, Our Lord; so that, having engaged here below thy heavenly power, I may offer my thanksgiving and homage to the most loving of fathers.

O St. Joseph, I never weary contemplating thee and Jesus asleep in thy arms. I dare not approach while He reposes near thy heart. Press Him in my name and kiss His fine head for me, and ask Him to return the kiss when I draw my dying breath. St. Joseph, patron of departing souls, pray for us. Amen.

"This prayer was found in the 50th year of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In 1505, it was sent from the pope to Emperor Charles when he was going into battle. Whoever shall read this prayer or hear it or keep it about themselves, shall never die a sudden death or be drowned, nor shall poison take effect on them; neither shall they fall into the hands of the enemy or be burned in any fire or be overpowered in battle. Say for nine mornings for anything you desire. It has never been known to fail."

.  For sure these days are not job friendly. In Canada 35 % are living paycheck to paycheck. I saw a headline last week : Why is the young generation the most unhappy in history? Well, the short answer is "no God, no truth, minimum education, (kommunist agenda btw,) greedy companies etc."
A bit off topic here , Three weeks ago there was the education minister in Ontario setting up a special commission to fix the schooling...Grade 5 - 40 % couldn't Read / meet the standard test. Grade 9, 70 % couldn't do Math. He called this "Discouraging results". The Education budget is $40B, and the students are dumbed down, then before you know it they need to find a job, but they were robbed of an education; so now we have an unhappy generation, living with mummy and daddy till their mid 30's. A school teacher friend says she couldn't teach in the cities (MUSIC), cause the kids couldn't even read the words of the songs...Grade 3.!!!
Last year 7000 restaurants closed in Canada, and 4000 predicted to close 2026. Huge corporations are closing ( Algoma Steel) ;car manufacturing crashing, Farmers owe $130 Billion. I have to wait 2 months to get a parcel cause the Post Office is addicted to striking...So the Federal gob'ment is laying off bigtime (probably a good thing).= fewer jobs. Bottom line: Pray, so you can Pay dah bills...
Hope you get a stable job Keph. ++

I kept praying to Saint Joseph and several novenas the past six months. I recently did a novena to Saint Philomena, and she helped me as well as Our Lady and Saint Joseph.
