So I guess you would be just as happy if they had any other non-Catholic service there.

No, the miracle was that the ALTAR was saved, not the Novus Ordo TABLE. And what do they do in response to the miracle? Do a Novus Ordo "mass".

It was actually! When the spire fell, it crushed the NO table while the altar was left untouched. Our Lady was sending a very strong message.
