  • The Rosary is the key indeed to fighting error and mainting our Catholic faith.
"Non nobis, Domine, non nobis; sed nomini tuo da gloriam..." (Ps. 113:9)

  • I agree that the rosary is one of the most wonderful gifts to man.  I have read this essay before and it is very nice.

However, I am duty bound to point out that the highly touted Prophecy of St. Nilus is a fake.  There is no record whatsoever of its existence prior to 1950 or so.

    See:

Thus saith the Lord to you: Fear ye not, and be not dismayed at this multitude: for the battle is not yours, but God's...It shall not be you that shall fight, but only stand with confidence, and you shall see the help of the Lord over you: ...fear ye n

  • "It indeed wonderful to see the father leads the Rosary while the mother and children harmoniously respond."

This is the tradition in our household.  It has become such an integral part of our daily routine that my sons ask when we're going to pray the rosary next.  My (one-year-old) daughter makes the sign of the cross and babbles along during the responses.

It is amazing and humbling to witness how much praying together can truly bring a family together.
