Exorcisms and Novus Ordo Hosts
« on: September 09, 2023, 03:35:35 PM »
I forget if I asked this before, but how do we understand if the Novus Ordo Missae is invalid if Fr. Ripperger said that demons react the exact same way to hosts consecrated in it like those in the traditional rite, although they distinguish between them?

Is it that it cannot be used as something a priori in an argument for the Novus Ordo being valid?

I've also wondered things like this. Also with exorcists in the new rite saying the old rite is more effective at exorcising, how would they know if they weren't actual priests with some sort of jurisdiction from a valid bishop.
