    • Is it true that the Pope never wears his tiara during a papal Mass? I've heard of a photo that was circulated in the 1800s and said to be a forgery because a Pope never wears his tiara during Mass. I think that the only thing that covers a bishop's head during Mass (if it's not consecration) is the skullcap.
