What???Kath has been ill for a while. We have been praying for her in our Rosary each night. She posted less and less and the last time she posted was 19th December. She was such an important poster here. Worth her weight in gold. I miss her.
What happened???

She was one of the nicer people on this forum, that's for sure...Yeah, if you go back through her posts, most of them are praying for others in the prayer requests subforum. That goes to show where her soul was. :incense:
A lot of people are hoping to survive this Covid time period, but I hope we can all receive the Last Rites like Donkath did. What a gift!
I read a lot of her posts while a lurker and I'll keep her in my prayers
I was in a Covid coma for 2 months. My family said I came out of the coma after the hospital finally let our pastor give me the Last Rites. Important for the eternal soul and sometimes heals the body.Applause, glad you made it! We have our own story with Covid and Last Rites. "...sometimes heals the body." You're not kidding. That's when we turned our corner! Covid is real. It also turns into pneumonia rapidly. The fatigue took forever to get over.
May Donkath rest in peace.

Applause, glad you made it! We have our own story with Covid and Last Rites. "...sometimes heals the body." You're not kidding. That's when we turned our corner! Covid is real. It also turns into pneumonia rapidly. The fatigue took forever to get over.Thank you. Indeed, some of us were hit hard and still have problems, but too many innocents didn't survive the twin bioweapons (virus and jab). May they all rest in peace. May God have mercy on us all.
Ditto on the Priest situation with friends that ended up in hospital. Last Rites started to be given before any hospital admissions after awhile. It proved providential as we lost friends to Covid pneumonia.
A lot of people are hoping to survive this Covid time period, but I hope we can all receive the Last Rites like Donkath did. What a gift!I don't know where you live, but if you get sick with anything and you know you are struggling, don't wait to get Last Rites. The chances of you getting them if you have to go into a hospital in MANY places are drastically reduced to almost zero. If you happen to have a Priest that says you are "not sick enough?" Find another one! The Priests here were run off their feet making Last Rites visits underground, pre-emptively, begging to get into care facilities and hospitals, and all sorts of in-betweens such as house calls, etc. We got slammed with Covid--all ages were affected. Healthy, young, old, sick, never-been-sick, families, Priests. They also drove hours upon hours to say Mass quietly in every imaginable part of this country. They neglected nothing of their duties!!

Anyone that gets sick with anything questionable now and needs medical attention (including an ambulance) better not take anything for granted. I could not even go in to see my own husband in the ER. That's my warning, take it or leave it.
Does anyone have details of when she died, an online obituary?
I want to place something in her signature line, post-humously.
I've done that before with deceased members.
Yeah, if you go back through her posts, most of them are praying for others in the prayer requests subforum. That goes to show where her soul was. :incense:She always remembered that there was a human being behind every screen on this forum. That doesn't happen in a lot of places.
What a great picture and tribute. Well done, Donkath.:pray::pray:
Especially since "managed [lack of] care" erupted from hell in the 90's, the "medical-industrial complex" has utterly destroyed health care. I believe the destruction is intended to augment depopulation by the usual war, pestilence, and famine.
There remain some physicians loyal to their oaths. Unfortunately most med schools no longer require any oath. When I first heard this (about 10 years ago), only about 10% of grads were taking either the Hippocratic or Geneva Oath and that is reflected in the attitude of younger docs—venal, self-centered, and submissive careerists.
