  • From the movie The Song of Bernadette, when she arrives at the convent, you can hear the nuns chanting in the background but it’s not that discernible.

    From 2:13:28-2:13:56 you can hear the chant only but it’s not that discernible.

    I already time stamped the link to start at that time.

  • Didn’t mean to write “discernible” twice in the post, sorry about that.

  • Sunday Compline , I think...not 100% sure...
    They sing two verses of "Nunc Dimittis", then a bit of organ, and then a couple of verses of In Manus Tuas.

    I suppose the symbolism would be:

    For my eyes have seen... (Apparition of the Immaculate Conception).

    Nunc Dimittis:
    "Lord, now let Thou thy servant depart in peace : according to Thy word.
    For mine eyes have seen : Thy salvation..."
    +++++

    In manus tuas:
    "In your hands, Lord, I commend my spirit.
    You have redeemed me, Lord, God of truth.

    She is ending her life in the secular world, but now she is entering the religious state. "In manus tuas "was spoken by Jesus on the cross...So, very appropriate melodies.

    St Marie Bernard, Pray for us!
    La mesure de l'amour, c'est d'aimer sans mesure.
    The measure of love is to love without measure.
