It has been impossible to figure out who performs this. I even looked through every single comment in this video.

I've also looked in iTunes, searched many scholas and nothing. Putting litaniae sanctorum doesn't help either.

This is the best version I've heard so far. I don't want to just download it from youtube, I'd like to buy it and know who they are anyways to see if they have more.

No, I spent some time searching but couldn't find anything. I did find this same recording on over 20 other youtube videos though, but none of them credited the original recording. It's a shame, because it is a wonderful version.

It's also annoying that if you send a message to the uploaders they don't even answer. Well I've only tried with two, but I think they're the ones with the most views, so they should be the most active.

Hi,
At this point I cannot prove it but sure sounds like the STAS Ordination choir (seminarians) at Winona a couple of Junes back a while.
Would have been a direct mike feed as opposed to some one of the faithful as no babies or birds in the background like mine mostly!!!

I don't think so. Theres another video of the exact same version that is more than 6 years old.

Just because they are both beautiful doesn't mean they are the same :)

This recording is not using the 1962 version of the Litany of the Saints.
The Litany of the Saints, in the traditional 1962 version in the Liber Usualis (which is the ONLY version used by the SSPX) is 16 minutes long when sung.

Having only listened to 2 1/2 minutes, I can already tell it's not the same Litany:

"Gabriel et Raphael et Michael"
"Orate pro nobis"

There is NEVER a case of 3 saints listed like that.

Also, there are no Old Testament saints in the traditional Litany, and yet you hear

Sancte Abraham
Ora pro nobis

I visited an Orthodox church bookstore once and they had chant recordings playing in the background. If is not a traditional Catholic Litany of the Saints, could it be an Orthodox Litany?

There has been 20+ years of Ordinations here at Winona, This coming June will be the last, or so they say. Audio recorded !
