  • No doubt the reason her supposed death was never formally declared - despite the overwhelming majority opinion...

  • Mary was Assumed into Heaven while she was still alive. She may have gone asleep, but she didn't die, and she, physically along with her immaculate soul, was taken into Heaven.
Blessed be the Lord my God, who teacheth my hands to fight, and my fingers to war. ~ Psalms 143:1 (Douay-Rheims)

I agree with this. If death is a result of Original Sin, as it is, then it does not make any sense that Our Lady died, given that she was completely free from Original Sin. It does not make any sense that her body aged, either. She must have been perfect in all senses, physical, as well, as spiritual, without any sign of decay (consequence of Original Sin) whatsoever.

I think that none of the pictures of Our Lady makes her any justice. I think most of them are ugly. Our Lady, free from Original Sin, first girl, creature, created by God without the stain of sin, must have been really perfect and the most beautiful woman ever existed. No artist can really achieve such level of perfection to represent her.

If anyone says that true and natural water is not necessary for baptism and thus twists into some metaphor the words of our Lord Jesus Christ" Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Spirit" (Jn 3:5) let him be anathema.

    Well said.
She was absolutely perfect in every detail, and the most beautiful woman who ever walked this earth. Moreover, as the Saints tell us, even her most simple actions were more pure and holy than the greatest actions of the highest Seraphs.

There is absolutely no logical reason to believe otherwise
