The dialogue Mass was the last public, modernist step toward the novus ordo mess.
Make the people feel important, stroke their egos, get them to stop praying and just wait for their next turn to speak their part.

The dialogue Mass was not what Pope St Pius X meant when he introduced the missal to the laity; but as always the modernists jumped quickly to hijack the opportunity to turn it to their advantage.

I believe this is what got the liberal women (wannabe priests) all fired up to take over in the churches. And down the slippery slope we went!

And this is what the SSPX is teaching in their school chapels.

There were innovative places that tried having a dialogue Mass long before Vatican II. I was told that some locales started doing it as early as in the 1930's.

I'm sure they tried to start it in many places as soon as the Pope said he wanted the laity following the priest during Mass. (Remember in Germany while Pius X was still alive some priests were doing the Mass in the venacular)

The laity were just too traditional to let the dialogue Mass catch on. It took those born after Vat II to try it thinking it was traditional. Too many younger people think just because someone at sometime did something prior to Vat II it's tradition !
