I was just wondering if there is any harm in adding a prayer to St. Michael to our daily prayers?
I feel that it is immensely important for my children to learn it and so I have added it on in our nightly prayers. My concern is that this would be misusing the prayer since it is intended to be said after mass, but we rarely if ever attend mass, so my concern is in potentially offending Our Lord with the daily recitition of a prayer intended for Sundays.

Should I keep it up as a matter of protection or only say it when we attend mass?

I recommend saying the prayer to St Michael often.

At the end of every 5 decades of my rosary I say the prayer to St Michael.
I also say the benedictine exorcism prayer.
