Author Topic: Cousin unborn child auntie in danger of death- URGENT (Read 1747 times)

Urgent prayers needed please- I would REALLY REALLY appreciate prayers for this intention.

My cousin Yasmin had only 9-10 weeks before her baby was due. We've just found out that she was rushed into hospital this morning with very serious complications and is in surgery as I type. It seems likely (from what we can gather) that the baby may have already died and Yasmin is in imminent danger of death too (she is a very petite person which complicates matters further).

My auntie (Yasmin's grandmother) who has a serious heart condition is also very ill with worry and grief and if Yasmin dies my uncle feels that my auntie could soon follow.

Please, please keep them all in your prayers. Please pray that if all else fails (and obviously we are praying very hard for a positive outcome) Yasmin and/or baby, Auntie may die in a state of grace/baptism.

I keep hearing horror stories about people losing their babies when they're several months along. I am very concerned myself, because I am due at the beginning of August.

I will pray for your cousin and your aunt. :cry:

I urge you to make a promise to St. Gerard that you will have a Mass said in honor of him and in thanksgiving if the mother and baby survive. Be assured of my prayers.

Well, we are forever in your debt- we have such good news I am in shock!

Baby born today, perfectly fine and healthy, Yasmin perfectly well too! DEO GRATIAS!!!!

On Tuesday it was thought that both mother + baby were going to be lost, yesterday the doctors were hoping that if Yasmin was kept immobile in bed they could eke out the pregnancy for up to a week to give the baby a better chance of survival,then the prognosis got better and they thought they could make it last up to four weeks to allow the baby's lungs to develop properly- now the baby has arrived in seemingly perfect health! It's all happened so quickly that I don't know many details but that is the basic gist.

God has made everything far, far better than we could have dared to hope.I am sure that it is purely down to prayers. Thank you all so much for your prayers!! We can't even begin to thank you.
