  • Someone on the internet who got upset with my (younger) brother told a friend of his my brother had made him mad, and apparently the friend of this guy claims to have now put some kind of voodoo curse or curses on my brother.

Granted, sometimes people who mess around with that stuff don't know what they're doing, but we all know that voodoo is of the devil, and the devil is quite real. So on the chance that this guy's friend really did put a curse on him, please pray for my brother and my family. Even if it's real, God is stronger than the devil, so with prayer, I would think he should avoid any harm.

My brother's confirmation patron is St. Joseph, I believe, so he's probably a good one to ask for help.
I renounce any and all of my former views against what the Church through Pope Leo XIII said, "This, then, is the teaching of the Catholic Church ...no one of the several forms of government is in itself condemned, inasmuch as none of them contains anythi

  • How did your avatar thingy grow fur, Dulc.  And purple fur at that.

I have reason to believe that curses do work.  Comes from being related to some Phillipinos.  Also St. John Vianney believed it.

Will add it to my ever growing rosary.

  • Thank you, I appreciate it.

About my avatar... lol I guess it might look like that. I'm actually giving these (fuzzy things) away in the art section. Anyone who wants can save them and use them for personal use. (Kids would probably enjoy them. I even printed them out on paper as stationary once, so maybe as clip art for home school?) I originally made these (and my old avatar and it's counterparts) as computer icons... which I still have, but haven't got them uploaded anyplace. They're on my computer though, I think.

  • I will pray for your brother's protection. My mother used to put curses on her enemies with voodoo dolls. Nothing ever came of it that I am aware of though...I thought it an odd expression of an Irishwoman's anger at the time. Better to stick sharp objects in dolls than in people! Nevertheless, I understand that if someone actually knows what they are doing it could be dangerous and is not something to be taken lightly.

  • Staying in the state of grace really helps. Also, sacramentals which hinder the devil in general would be a good thing.

Picture two thugs, one of them telling the other that "this is the house we need to rob", making a certain house into a target for the other thug, and/or his gang. But if the owner takes security seriously (motion camera, lighting, burglar alarm, powerful handgun, etc.) the thugs still might end up skipping the house.

If they set foot on the property and immediately got shot through with a few dozen needles from some exotic defense system, they would probably high-tail it out of there.

Devotion to the Blessed Virgin, use of holy water, St. Michael prayer, Miraculous Medal, blessed statues and pictures, and a holy life.
