  • Since 1625, the first day of the Octave of Epiphany had been observed as Christophoria, the Return of the Holy Family form Egypt, in the Ambrosian Rite.

From the Messale Ambrosiano (Milan: Pia Società S. Paolo, 1954), here is the Mass for the Feast of Christophoria.

  • The nearest equivalent in the Roman Rite to the Ambrosian Christophoria is the Feast of the Flight of Our Lord into Egypt, found in the appendix Missæ propriæ quæ in aliquibus locis celebrari possunt of the Missale Romanum for the seventeenth of February.

From The Missal-Vesperal with Commentary: Containing in Latin and English, with Explanatory Notes, the Masses and Vespers of All the Feasts and Ferias of the Liturgical Year and the Feasts Proper to Certain Places (Cleveland, OH: Notre Dame College & High School, 1932), here are Mass and Vespers for the Feast of the Flight of Our Lord into Egypt.
