    • (I didn't find this already posted, even after a search, so apologies if this is common knowledge)

    I recently discovered that Brother Gerard passed away in April, after being diagnosed with a brain tumor just a few months earlier. This link has more information:

    Those of us who were at the seminary from the 90s on will surely remember Brother Gerard, his presence in the refectory, chapel, laundering and ironing vestments, perpetually smiling and always a source of help.

    • Brother Gerard, a happy person he was, a real person, his twin brother Fr. Nichols is the same. You couldn't tell them apart.

    May Brother Gerard rest in peace.
