I just got an e-mail from one of his parishioners:
Subject: Prayers
I just wanted to let all of you know that Bishop Slupski was hospitalized in Des Moines, IA.

By the way, pardon my ignorance, but who is Bishop Slupski? I assume he is Traditional, but I've never heard of him.
-
He was ordained by the Redemptorists in Poland in 1961, never said the Novus Ordo -- he's been a traditional priest for years.
About 18 years ago (plus or minus) he was consecrated a bishop by Bishop McKenna.
He serves several small congregations (emphasis on small) in the southern Wisconsin/northern Illinois area.

Thanks. I'll pray for him.

St. John of the Cross, pray for us.

I wanted to add --
I don't know his exact age, but I gather he wasn't extremely young when he was ordained. He was probably late twenties at the youngest, probably around 30.
So if he was 30 in 1961, he would be 9 years older than Bishop Williamson, or about 81 years old.

Any update on Bishop Slupski's situation?
