O Mary, my Mother and Patroness, as I begin this date, I consecrate its every moment, and all its activities to you. Bless this occassion with happiness for us; make it a reminder of the eternal happiness we hope for hereafter. Protect us from harm, physical and spiritual, and make (him/her) a better (man/woman) for having been with me. In (his/her) name, and in mine, I invite you to accompany us on this date. Continue to walk beside me all during my life; pray for me at the hour of death, so that I may enjoy your company and that of your Son for all eternity. Amen.
