If anyone says that true and natural water is not necessary for baptism and thus twists into some metaphor the words of our Lord Jesus Christ" Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Spirit" (Jn 3:5) let him be anathema.

Does Bastille day fall every year around the time of the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus?  (The other way around doesn't sound right.)

This King, Louis XVI, is the same one whose execution was consequent to his refusal to put the Sacred Heart of Jesus on the French flag and to publicly consecrate France to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Do you know why he refused to do those two things?  There must have been some compelling reasons!  Because it cost him his life!

Bastille Day is always July 14th.  The Feast of the Sacred Heart is always on the Friday after the Octave of Corpus Christi, which in turn is based on Easter.  Next year the Feast of the Sacred Heart will be on June 11th.  My decision to post Saint Margaret Mary with The Sacred Heart was an after thought based on the connection between the two.  The King did make the consecration, but it was too late--after he had abdicated, I believe.  Correct me out there if I am wrong.
