  • Life site news gave a list of Universities and colleges that are sponsoring PP plays on stage of the V word.
Univ of Marquette, Bellarmine March-23rd and 24th, College of Holy Cross Feb.-25 and 26, Dominican Univer. Feb 14, Georgetown Univ Feb 21-24, Georgetown Univ Law Center Feb 21-24, Loyola Univ. Chicago March 15-16, St. Marys College of CA Feb. 15, Seattle Univ. Society March 1, 2, 3; Siena Heights Univ. MI April 19-20; University of Detroit MI Feb. 28, Xavier Univ. of OH April 2; St Louis Univ off campus March 7 and 8.

If you boycott, don't boycott the universities, but the dioceses.  If your Bishops look the other way, then you know they are not Catholic, let a lone Pro-life.  Same goes for the univ.  This is such old news, but just  FYI.

  • Whilst from time to time there are good articles on Life Site News itself doesn't seem to see the bigger picture. What I dislike about this 'pro-life movement' is it has become a brand and everything will be ok in society if you vote 'pro-life' every four or five years? A 'pro-life' 'victory' is not a victory at all in many cases and how much money/time is wasted to ensure the 'victory' when time and money could be put to many other things. Then the great 'pro-life' 'hero' betrays the voter which leads to anger and demoralisation.

To refer to my own Nation it is fair to say a few of the NO Bishops turned up at the recent 'Vigil for Life' in Dublin and were vocal in the media. A prayer vigil organised by Archbishop Diarmiud Martin that preceded the Vigil was packed. With these impending abortion there has been a renewed increase in activism and mobilisation.

Same for this 'March for Life in Washington DC.

With most schools being Catholic in name only I agree with a boycott but also we must rebuild.

People have to get to the root of the crisis in the Church and society in general.

A suggestion I would have is perhaps a League of Christ the King type group could be formed or mobilise on the campus.

  • Sometimes if you criticize Protestantism they will tell you about little crosses being put out in front of Protestant churches.

I really wonder sometimes, about all these young people at world youth day and at big pro-life events, how sincere it all is.  It seems to me if the belief that if respect for life was as strong as it appears to be that church-going people would be more serious about opposition to feminism in all its forms.
