Gadius is correct. God is Creation. Satan is Destruction. Without God, Satan would have nothing to destroy, and thus evil could not exist. God creates everything, including the very emotions that Satan twists into hate. Without God, Satan couldn't even hate, because there is nothing to hate or anything from which to deteriorate into hate.
What's the point of telling you this? Just to emphasize what Gladius has already said: God by definition is all that which is good. He MUST be in order for anything to exist. Since this is the case, Holiness is God. God is Holiness, it is not separate. To appeal to God is to appeal to holiness. The manner in which certain saints appealed to God spawned different aspects of holiness. Moses was different from, say, Saint Jerome in that Moses was gifted with the power to control nature, whereas Jerome was gifted with the power to control words, being the educated writer that he was. Both appealed to God, both have holiness, just in a different manner.
