We are talking about Polish clerics and why some thrived (collaborated with the Communists) and some died (martyrs who refused to collaborate).

Those clerics who 'thrived' aren't found among the saints. Many of the clerics who collaborated did so under coercion. They are not saints. They are among the reasons that we pray for the poor souls in Purgatory.
The saints are among those who resisted, like Cardinal Wyszynski.

Predictably your half-truths ignore the mentioned Marxist "saint."

We were talking about Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski, not this guy.
"This guy" is the deceased "new saint" Karol Woytila.

"This guy" is the deceased "new saint" Karol Woytila.
He was part of the resistance to the communist rule.
