*Prayer request* Prayers for my beloved father
« on: September 11, 2006, 12:43:02 PM »
Hi all. My dad is going in for a total hip replacement surgery tomorrow (Sept 12) at 2:10 PM EST. He is only 55 and in good health, so there shouldn't be any complications, but I ask for your prayers anyways if you can spare them. My dad has a heart of gold and would help anyone in need (and I love him dearly!). He's also a nominal N.O. Catholic who attends Mass only a few times a year... please pray that he comes to Tradition. That is truly my fondest hope. Thank you dear friends.

P.S.
Does anyone have some good traditional prayers to St Luke the evangelist? That is the patron saint of his hospital (St Luke was also a physician too ). If you do, please post them here. Thank you and God Bless.

I will take this to Our Lady and ask my husband to take it to St. Joseph, his favorite saint.  I don't have any St. Luke prayers, though.

Thank you!

Yes, you have my prayers and I will ask yours as well. My mother is going for hip replacement as well on9/18. As she lives with me and my family I will be taking care of her. She is 64, she had me young as I will be 46 this Nov.
