    The author of the paragraph I quoted would have agreed with you. The very next sentence he wrote was "There are lots of good choices for marches, including the Purcell Trumpet Tune, the Trumpet Voluntary in D, the Pachelbel Canon, The Grand March by Alexandre Guilmant, and a host of others that any trained organist can play for you."

  • I was adamant that I did not want "Here Comes the Bride"! Hate the tune anyway!

    It was in consultation with the organist that we chose what we chose. Another possibility for the end was something called "Gothic Toccata". I liked it, but thought it might be a bit Addams Family!Can't find it on Youtube alas.
