July 13, 1917 was a very important apparition at Fatima.
Vision of hell etc.
I  am surprised to read on page 52 of the 1962  Missal of the SSPX, that : 'prayers after each decade, are merely pious additions.' Really.??! The Mother of God gave an 'order' to say this prayer, no?

"...the Holy Father will have much to suffer, various nations will be annihilated. In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me, and she will be converted, and a period of peace will be granted to the world. In Portugal, the dogma of the Faith will always be preserved; etc… Do not tell this to anybody. Francisco, yes, you may tell him.
— When you pray the Rosary, say after each mystery: O my Jesus, forgive us, save us from the fire of hell. Lead all souls to Heaven, especially those who are most in need.
After this, there was a moment of silence, and then I asked:
— Your Grace, is there anything more that you want of me?
— No, I do not want anything more of you today.

Catholics have no strict obligation to believe in the apparitions at Fatima at all, so yes they are "pious additions". They are also universally used by SSPX-supporting laymen however, as far as I have seen.

Yeah... and Bro. Diamond and Dr. Sungenis teach us that Fatima is a done deal anyway.

The SSPX periti spent a lot of time putting that missal together.

One pet peeve I have with it is the post Mass Thanksgiving prayer, "Anima Christi"

The prayer in it's original form was given indulgences by Bl. Pope Pius IX.

But the SSPX used the jew Brit Cardinal's "sing song" modified version of Anima Christi instead.

The SSPX just loved to indoctrinate their seminarians with Cardinal Newman.
And from his private correspondence, we learn Newman despised the Pio Nono.
Of course, if Pope Pius IX had been alive he would have not allowed Newman to advance as he did.

I submit that Newman's "Anima Christi" lacks the same indulgences.

I saw a video where Sungenis mentioned that but it was an hour and a half long or something. Do you know the short version of why he thinks that?
