  • Rev. Fr. Reginald Garrigou-Lagrange shows in Chapter IV, "The Love of God and the Mystery of the Cross," of his great work The Love of God and the Cross of Jesus, (trans. Sister Jeanne Marie, O. P. Vol. 1. St. Louis, MO: B. Herder Book Co., 1951), the profound Christological principles that illustrate immensely the teachings of such spiritual authors as St. Louis Marie de Montfort, and thereby answers the above question in the context of the great and sublime truths of our sacred Faith.

As I read these pages recently, my whole frame thrilled with an indescribable and unfeeling delight as I pondered over the recent misfortunes in my own life and how these were truly a gift of God and an invitation to join His only-begotten Son in embracing the Holy Cross.

    Enjoy!  :reading: Pray!

Please ignore all that I have written regarding sedevacantism.
