  • While the place hosting it may be hardly up to our standards, this is nevertheless (as far as I can tell) a full (and hopefully an un-tampered-with) version of the Summa of St. Thomas, online.

    IMPORTANT NOTES! PLEASE READ!


    For those not familiar with the Summa, firstly, I would like to warn that the format St. Thomas uses is to lay out the errors or objections to the truth, and SECONDLY to answer or refute them. So the ERRORS are written FIRST, and the TRUTH is written SECONDLY.

    Secondly, I have heard, but do not know for sure whether any of the things in it were later refuted or corrected by the Church. It is sometimes difficult to understand what is being said, let alone if it has been corrected later on, because it is so deep and technical. However for the most part, I believe it's hard to find anywhere so deep and thorough a resource for what we really DO believe, in any case. But being ignorant of this particular matter, I hope that those who use the resource will be able to discover the truth of the matter from someone who does know.
