very much for those pages. The importance of this theological summary cannot be overemphasized. Our whole system of faith is based on it, and it was rightly placed on the altar during the Council of Trent, whose decrees are as if directly taken from the same work.
Speaking about the Summa: A man once told me, that he reads one article of the Summa each morning during breakfast. In the course of years, he read the entire work nearly two times.
I also adopted this practice and find it very salutary: Very often I am in awe, reading those lines full of depth and sanctity.
But not only that, I think many articles are great for meditations. Then we have actually already reached the higher goal, namely using St. Thomas´ fruits of contemplation to come into a closer union with God ourselves.
